Lindsey Armstrong Media

About

Working at the forefront of live news as a broadcast journalist at BBC, UTV and GMTV, I reported, produced and presented local and national stories for a Northern Ireland audience across TV, radio and digital platforms.
I have first-hand experience of what newsroom producers and editors look for in stories, campaigns and events.

I worked within corporate media as a producer at Macmillan Media and a senior researcher at Mint Communications. I have a wealth of experience working with private, public and third sector organisations designing media strategies and campaigns for global audiences.

At the national charity Fixers, I produced films for ITV regional news which gave a platform to young people. Issues covered include suicide; cyber-crime, ADHD, bullying, drugs and alcohol abuse and disability discrimination.

Through researching these issues and connecting with both those affected and experts, I created media campaigns which raised public awareness demonstrating the value of positive public relations.
